(Faith-Word) Now that we have established that the little horn of Daniel 7:8 is papal Rome, Let us survey the features of this little horn from the light of God’s word and bible prophecy.
“…And behold, in this horn (the little horn) were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.” Daniel 7:8 (KJV). The Pope is undoubtedly the head of the papal Rome and Popo Leo the 13th wrote: “We hold upon this earth, (speaking of the Pope) the place of God Almighty.”
The great Enclical Letters of Pope 3 Leo the 13th. When Christ was leaving He promised to send us a representative- the holy spirit: john 19:7-11. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. (KJV).
(1) That the Holy Spirit is the Vicar of Christ not the pope. Now this is the bible truth. “But the comforter which is the’ Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 (KJV), (john 14:16). “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” john15:26 (KJV).
(2) CATHOLIC NATIONAL, of July 1895 “The pope is not the only representative of Jesus Christ, But he is Jesus Christ Himself hidden under the veil of flesh.”
(3) CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA, Volume 12, page 265, “This judicial authority (the authority of the pope) will even include the power to pardon sin.” This is Blasphemy (mark 2:7KJV).
My Brothers and sisters, regardless of your religion, nationally or color, you can believe the above statement are “great words” to e spoken by a mortal man. The bible says in the bible book of ROMANS chapter 3:10 that “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” And the ROMAN CHURCH says that the pope is infallible and can pardon sin.
You see that our God is a very wise God as He directed Paul to the authority of the church of papal Rome “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23 (KJV). Therefore, none is Christ but Christ Jesus. The bible says that Christ has on earth to forgive sins, (Matt.9:6) not the pope. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven (not even the pope, bishop, or pastor) given among men, whereby we must be saved.”Acts 4:12 (KJV).
Only Jesus Christ can set you free from sin. (John 8:36). Again the bible’s in Daniel 7:8 is fulfilled as well as Revelation 13:5 “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies”…
