It must have been a glorious sundown in heaven that, Friday evening or the evening of the sixth day of creation. “All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. John 3:1 (KJV).
The angels were singing melodies. The sky was beamed with light from the throne of God. The air was perfumed with adoring scent of fresh roses just being created by Christ. Man was at his best without sin and decay, an express image of his creator. All heaven was pleased. From the trumpet of the angels, praises were coming like never before to Him that sat on the throne.
“And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day”. Gen. 1:31 (KJV) “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.”Gen.2:1-2 (KJV).
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. Gen.2:3 (KJV). Due to pride, jealousy and ambition, the covering cherub was not pleased. He that had covered the throne of God with his wings desired to be worshiped by his creator. His (Satan’s) beauty was in his mind. He adored self more than loyalty to the one that made him. This was the beginning of the end.
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Isaiah 14:12-15 (KJV). “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. faith-word
