For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: “from such turn away”. 2 Timothy 3:1-5. Is this not actually the true condition of the world situation now?
It is sin to transgress the la of God. 1John 3:4. And “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” Prov. 28:9. Is there any doubt then why we have so many problems in the world today? Has man really attempted to change the order of creation as ordained by God the creator?
Let us receive the following passages for “ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” John 8:32. “For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.” Romans 2:13. “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”( James 2:10; 4:17).
When everything else has failed, the truth most stand. Regardless of your previous convictions which may be in error, “To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” Hbrews 4:7 KJV. “Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. Prov. 23:23” Do this one thing, “forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, … press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14.
For “hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.” 1 john 2:3-5.
Because Christ has conclusively said, “If you love me keep my commandment.” John 14:15. “For this is the love of God that we keep his commandments: and His commandments are not grievous (hard)” for us to keep. 1 john 5:3. And “ the Lord made this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.” Deu. 5:3. So
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches,” Rev. 2:7. “Come out of her, my people.” Rev. 18:4. And I say unto you “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD” by obeying all His laws including the Seventh-day Sabbath , “choose you this day whom ye will serve”; whether the Pagan god of Rome or the law-breaking papacy, but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15) by keeping His commandments including the Seventh-day, Sabbath of the fourth commandment. Exodus 20:8-11; 31:15-17; Isaiah 58:13-14; 66:23; Ezekiel 20:20.
Because “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.” Phil.4:13 And if you absolutely depend on Him, “in Him are hid all treasures of wisdom and knowledge,” Col.2:3, you will be able to obey the laws of God through Christ for at that point “it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.”
Phil.2:13 only believe in Christ for “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Said Jesus john 14:12. Therefore, by having faith in the word of Jesus we can please God and keep all His commandments-but “without faith it is impossible to please Him.” Heb. 11:16.faith-word
