In the same year, A.D. 538 the year marked as the beginning of the 1260-years prophecy Revelation12:6, 14; Daniel 7:25 or 42 months prophecy (Revelation 13:5) the Roman catholic third council of Orleans issued a law even more severe than Constantine’s decree of March 7 321 A.D.

In the Bible prophecy a day is a year.
“I have appointed thee each day for a year. “Ezekiel 4:6 (KJV)” each day for a year shall ye bear your iniquities.” Numbers 14:34 (KJV). One lunar month is equal to 30 days.
Therefore: Time = 1year = 360days Hence Times = 3years = 720days And dividing of Time = ½year = 180 days SO, TIME, TIMES, DIVIDING (HALF) OF TIME =1260 days. (1+2+½) years (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 12:14). Revelation 13:5 “…And power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.” (KJV).

On February 20, 1798, at the command of Napoleon, his general, Berthier enter Rome and took pope plus VI prisoner and he remained a French prisoner until he died there on August 29, 1799 at the age of 82.
