(faith-word) Now going back to Revelation 13:1, we read that the beast that john saw had seven head (we have established that the head is a governing power; Daniel 7:17, 24. And that waters or sea in bible prophecy represents “peoples and multitudes, and nation and tongues.” Rev. 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. (KJV).
Therefore, we find out that the first Head or governing power was Egypt and the following six heads or governing powers were Syria, Babylon, Medo-persia, Greece, Pagan Rome and Papal Rome. These are seven great powers or heads that did not obey God’s TEN COMMANDMENTS. They were destroyed because they did not obey the word of God.
We have now established that the seven of Rev.13:1 and Rev. 12:3 are Egypt, Syria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Pagan Rome (Revelation chapter 12), and Papal Rome (Revelation chapter 13). In Daniel 7:24, the bible says that the ten horns that shall rise are ten kings. From history we know that when the barbarians came in and divided the Roman Empire, where the two Caesars had ruled, ten separate great nations were set up right within the Roman boundaries.
These kings have crowned heads and crowned horns. These ten great nations that came in and set up their boundaries within the Roman Empire mainly came to set aside or do away with what God had set up. Every day in this world, regardless of your nationality, your forefathers or someone related to you is a descendant from these ten great nations. These nations are:
(1) THE ALAMANIS
(2) THE OSTROGOTHS
(3) THE VISIGOTHS
(4) THE FRANKS
(5) THE VANDALS
(6) THE SUAVI
(7) THE BURGUNDIANS
(8) THE HERULI
(9) THE ANGLO-SAXONS
(10) THE LAMBPARDS These were the ten divisions that Rome was divided into according to Bible prophecy in Daniel 7:24 “And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise…”
